Background and Mission
Celebrating eighty-three years of gardening in Topsfield, the Topsfield Garden Club was organized in 1926 and became a federated garden club in 1928. Dedicated to conservation, education and community service, the Club includes members with a wide variety of interests centering on horticulture - the art and culture of garden care and management. Programs and activities range from basic gardening to environmental protection and from simple floral arrangements to the beautification of the Town through plantings and decorations.
The Topsfield Garden Club welcomes members who would like to share their love, knowledge or simple curiosity about plants. The Club offers its members opportunities to learn from each other, to explore the world of horticulture, and to contribute to the wider community through enjoyable and rewarding activities.
Regular meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m.
Workshops and Special Projects are scheduled to accommodate those who wish to participate and, of course, the weather!
